Zine Making Workshop for Young Disabled People

As part of GMCDP's Young Disabled People's Forum project, we'll be running our first zine-making session!

Who's it for?
- people who identify as disabled and are aged 15-25

So...what's a zine?
Zines are a bit like magazines.
But don’t think glossy, fancy or expensive.
You choose what you want them to be about. You make them how you want to. Talk about anything at all, from films to politics. Write about a book you love/hate. Or don’t write at all! Put together some pictures of a place you think is cool.

It’s completely up to you!

Accessibility:

We aim for all our sessions to be as accessible and inclusive as possible. For this session the space will be on the first floor which is lift accessible. There is an accessible toilet on the first floor. There will be a PA available throughout the session.

If you have any access needs that we can support you with please get in touch beforehand and we will make the arrangements. If this includes a BSL interpreter please let us know as soon as possible to give us time to book one.

We can also discuss what your access needs might be if you are not sure what they are.

There will be refreshments and snacks. We will have a break half way through but you are welcome to take a break as you need to.
