Vacancy for Employment Support Officer
Salary: £23,571 pa based in North Manchester
Breakthrough UK, a leading disabled peoples user led organisation, is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and resourceful individual to join our team as an Employment Support Officer.
You will build and maintain effective rapport with your caseload of clients, other relevant services or support providers and employers. You will have a positive attitude and a passion to support each of your clients to achieve measurable outcomes on their journey towards employment and independence. You will use your exceptional planning and organisational skills to work creatively and flexibly to ensure that all clients access the right support from a range of resources and providers, encouraging and guiding them on their journey to employment.
You will have a strong personal commitment to equality, social justice and inclusion and an understanding or experience of disabling barriers in employment and society. You will be resourceful and able to work effectively on your own initiative and as a team member contributing to achievement of shared goals as well as individual targets.
Ideally, applicants will be experienced in a Job Coach role and be able to support clients to achieve and sustain paid employment.
Experience of working with Disabled People would be advantageous.
Appointment will be subject to a DBS check.
