Gender Based Abuse Strategy Consultation

Focus group for Greater Manchester’s Gender Based Violence Strategy, which has been in development for some 2 years.
 
You may be aware that Greater Manchester Mayor, Andy Burnham, launched a draft of the strategy in March and requested initial feedback from the public.  The strategy, based on that feedback, has had some amendments made and GMCA are shortly publishing this further draft for further public consultation.  
 
Through this focus group GMCA want to hear what you have to say about what we have defined as ‘gender based violence,’ and the priorities they have defined within the draft.  They also want to focus on a particular chapter in the document entitled, “Mobilising Greater Manchester,” which focuses on public engagement, working with universities and colleges and working with employers.
 
GMCA will provide some documents as further background in good time prior to the focus group.  It is not essential that you read this documents, but it will be helpful.
