What to expect:
The book explores a diverse range of firsthand experiences of childhood disability. Each chapter is unique, written by a different author.
Some chapters give advice and guidance to young disabled readers. Others look back on the author's childhood memories, and where they are today.
Please take a look at the agenda below to see how the meeting will work in more detail.
Don’t worry if you haven’t had time to start or finish the book before the meeting. You are more than welcome to come along and discuss as much or as little of the book as you’d like. We will explain things in advance and keep the themes general so that everyone can take part in our conversation.
GMCDP Membership:
GMCDP is a membership organisation, and our members are at the centre of everything we do. You do not have to be a GMCDP member to attend this event, but you are welcome to join GMCDP for free - you can join here and you will get newsletters roughly every 2 weeks to keep you up to date with what we are doing, and how you can get involved.
