GMCDP is hosting a series of events about the current government consultations plans and proposals to reform health and disability benefits and employment support.
About this meeting:
This meeting is for you to hear about the 'Pathways to Work: Reforming Benefits and Support to Get Britain Working Green Paper'.
We will take you through a summary of the proposals and what they mean.
We will review the consultation and help you think about how you want to respond. If you have the technology available, you are welcome to fill in (part of) the consultation as we talk about it during the meeting.
There will be handouts available to help you respond to the consultation after the meeting.
Accessibility:
You can turn on captions in Zoom. Please let us know if you have other access needs, such as to practice using Zoom in advance, or if you need a BSL interpreter.
About this series:
We are running the same session 3 times:
- Tuesday 17 June (during our online coffee meeting slot: coffee meeting is 12.45 to 3pm, the Green Paper section will be roughly 1-2pm).
- Thursday 19 June, 6.30-8pm
- Wednesday 25 June, 6.30-8pm
It is the same information at each meeting, so we expect many people to attend just once. However, you are welcome to come to as many meetings as is helpful for you.
