Tour: Disabled People’s Archive Exhibition

Ella Clarke, the Disabled People’s Archive Lead, will take us on a tour of the 'Central Library Showcase Exhibition’ to mark Disability History Month. Followed by a meal nearby.

Arrive at 10.45am for a tour starting at 11am.

Tour lasts around 45 minutes.

Then we will walk (& roll) the 0.2 miles to lunch in Albert Square nearby:

12.15 Founder's Hall - you can view their online menu, and filter for dietary needs. 

Finish: approx 3pm

  • Accessible toilets available - RADAR key operated (keys available on request)
  • Nearest Changing Places toilet: Central Library - lower ground floor
  • Wheelchair accessible
  • Travel information: Manchester Central Library is on St Peter's Square a short distance from the St Peter's Square tram stop. Multiple bus stops are nearby. The nearest railway station is Manchester Oxford Road.
  • Local travel expenses can be covered - receipts required - ask for details.
  • We can provide a PA on request - please register as soon as possible - we cannot guarantee being able to provide a PA if you register after Friday 22 November.
