This event is a focus group taking place as part of Greater Manchester's Big Mental Wellbeing Conversation.
The Independent Mental Health Network (IMHN) want to hear from people and communities across Greater Manchester about what’s going on for their wellbeing. What matters, what needs to change and how things like a person’s housing or employment situation are impacting things at the moment, especially given the current climate. The information we gather will then be analysed and developed into a set of recommendations for what is needed going forwards.
This focus group is taking place to ask disabled people about what affects and impacts their mental wellbeing the most. The session is taking place in collaboration with the Greater Manchester Coalition of Disabled People. Members of the team from both IMHN and the Coalition will be facilitating the focus group.
This focus group is taking place virtually, on the Zoom platform, Tuesday 10th November 1pm - 3pm. You will be sent an email containing joining instructions shortly before the date of the focus group.
A £25 voucher will be provided to each person who takes part.We are running two dates for this focus group, and the questions being discussed will be the same at both. If you wish to attend, you only need to sign up for one focus group. The other session will take place on Thursday 12 November between 3-5pm.
