Your Support Matters ‘Self Directed Support Course’ will enable you to understand how your Personal Budget or Direct Payment works. During the session we will look at how to put together a detailed support plan as well as the language which social services use when talking about your budget. We will also look at how financial assessments work. We will cover recruitment, including tips on how to write a good a good job advert and interview skills.

This interactive course aims to give you the confidence to advocate for yourself about your own support. The course will be broken up into 2 sessions over 2 days, each about 4-5 hours long.
