Come and join this interactive discussion on the social model of disability and understand why GMCDP bases everything we do, with this in mind. This session will aim to teach disabled people how the model can be applied to our own lives and why terminology and language can be important for this. We will then talk about activism and how grassroots campaigns have had an impact on laws and legislation, as well as local people in their communities.
We hope you leave feeling proud to be part of a grassroots organisation like GMCDP and leave with a sense of community.
