Young disabled people and employment!
Are you a young disabled person aged between 16-24? Would you give us your views on employment in this survey?
The Big Lottery Fund, along with various Govt departments, are building a funding stream to help "those young people furthest from employment" find ways into, and sustain, valuable employment.
KIDS recently attended a consultation on what this funding stream should aim to do - how might the funds be used to best effect for example.
Consultation on the funding continues. There is an opportunity to make sure young disabled people have their voices heard amongst the many groups of disadvantaged young people who are likely to be attending to the survey. At KIDS we would like to help young disabled people take part
